Job summary

nVent is seeking skilled electricians to join our Nebraska team. You will install wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment, and apply knowledge of conduit to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install.

You will work with 120/240V single phase, 120/240V delta 3 phase, 120/208V 3 phase, and 277/480V 3 phase systems, splice and terminate wires, and connect power cables to equipment. A strong reading of safety rules and operating procedures is essential.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of the NEC.
  • Reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Familiarity with various voltage systems and power distribution concepts.
  • Experience with commercial/industrial environments preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Install wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment
