Job summary

nVent is seeking an Electrical Assembler in Oregon, WI, to install wiring and control equipment across multi‑phase systems. You will measure, cut, bend, and install conduits and accept responsibility for safe, compliant electrical assembly.

Candidates should read and interpret safety rules and manuals; commercial/industrial experience is helpful but not mandatory. Indoor work environment with a Monday–Thursday 6am–4:30pm schedule, Fridays up to 10 hours, supports growth with a global leader in

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Experience in commercial/industrial settings helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment accurately.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install various conduit types.
• Handle 120/240 single phase and 3-phase systems across voltages.
• Join and finish wires to lighting, power, and control equipment.
• Connect power cables to equipment with safety standards in mind.
• Comply with NEC and safety requirements; switchgear experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment accurately
• Apply your knowledge of various electrical conduit types to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install flawlessly
• Handle 120/240 single phase, 120/240V delta 3 phase, 120/208V 3 phase, and 277/480V 3 phase systems with expertise
• Join and finish wires to lighting, power, and control equipment efficiently
• Connect power cables to equipment ensuring strict adherence to safety standards
• Apply your working knowledge of the NEC to ensure compliance and safety
• Experience with switchgear integration is a plus but not required

Requirements

• Proven ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Commercial/Industrial experience preferred but not mandatory
• Must thrive in an indoor work environment
• Reliable transportation to our Oregon, WI location daily
• Enthusiastic about working a schedule from 6am - 4:30pm M-Th, with up to 10 hours on Fridays
