Faith Technologies, Inc. (FTI) is seeking a Technical Training Consultant to lead the implementation and delivery of learning and development for technical and trade-oriented training, including coordination of classes, curriculum development, jobsite audits, and on‑site coaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate electrical apprenticeship, QuickStart, and other trade‑related training classes.
- Collaborate with Apprenticeship Team to research, recommend, pilot, and implement new training programs.
- Design and develop technical and trade curriculum aligned with organizational needs.
- Conduct on‑site coaching and audits to support employees and resolve work challenges.
- Build relationships with operational leaders to foster open dialogue and trust.
- Support the Apprenticeship Coordinator in program coordination as needed.
- Work with L&D team and subject‑matter experts to continuously improve training content, activities, and delivery.
- Maintain knowledge of L&D best practices and participate in professional organizations.
- Model company values and professional standards to trainees and colleagues.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Completion of an apprenticeship program or an Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years technical experience in electrical, specialty systems, or related trade; 1–2 years facilitation experience.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office Suite, operation of audiovisual equipment, and knowledge of adult learning principles and theory preferred.
- Travel: Up to 25% of time.
- Work schedule: Typical hours 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday; flexible to meet business needs.
