Job summary

Sunrun in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a qualified Installer/Lead Installer to perform electrical installation and repair tasks. You will work with Excel and Word for documentation, interact with customers professionally, and may cross-train across departments within Power+ programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of electrical installation and repair experience.
• Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards.
• Ability to perform all installation duties of the Installer and Lead Installer.
• Professional appearance and customer interaction.
• Have a strong work ethic, high level of craftsmanship/workmanship with strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willingness and ability to participate in the Power+ programs, which means you may be cross trained to perform comparable work in other departments or asked to perform work in other departments you're already skilled to support.
• Possess strong mechanical/construction skills.
• Have excellent verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• 5% travel is required.
