Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Electrical Trainee for residential solar projects in Park Ridge, IL. You’ll work alongside Foreman and Electricians to support installation, wiring, and testing of solar systems.

Responsibilities include assisting with electrical interconnections, troubleshooting, and safety-focused tasks across sites, with travel up to 5%. Experience with NEC and basic Excel/Word helps you succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of electrical installation and repair experience.
• Knowledge of NEC and applicable codes and standards.
• Strong work ethic and craftsmanship with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Valid Driver's License; willingness to travel 5%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of electrical systems interconnecting solar arrays to the grid.
• Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues.
• Assemble racking and solar arrays as assigned.
• Perform trenching, concrete work, and equipment assembly.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productive client sites.
• Demonstrate OSHA-compliant safety practices and teamwork.
