Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Technical Apprentice to join a dynamic team in Illinois. You will undergo 2 weeks of classroom instruction followed by 50 weeks of on-the-job training with milestone tracking, with promotion potential upon completion.

The role focuses on installing, programming, system start-up, certification, and customer training on fire, security, and building automation projects, while delivering quality results within timelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Basic construction background with electrical exposure.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and system plans.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up/check-out, certify, and train customers on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects.
• Deliver assigned projects effectively within budget and schedule with guidance.
• Assist on larger projects as needed and participate in on-the-job training.
• Perform other duties as required by project needs.
