Job summary

IES Residential in Fayetteville, AR is seeking motivated Electrical Apprentices to join our team. This role offers hands-on training in electrical rough-in, wiring, and install tasks while learning from lead electricians in a safety‑conscious environment.

Ideal candidates bring a strong work ethic, teamwork, basic electrical knowledge or aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints. Bi-lingual abilities are a plus, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented attitude with dependable attendance.
• Electrical experience and knowledge of the current NEC – preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints – preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical rough-in work, including measuring, cutting, and pulling wire.
• Install trim components such as plugs, switches, lighting, and fixtures.
• Carry tools and materials to support lead electricians and the crew.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite by cleaning work areas and equipment.
• Communicate progress, issues, and solutions with supervisors and team members.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with the leadman and division manager.
• Follow company safety rules and promptly correct or report hazards.
• Take direction effectively and work as part of a team.
