Job summary

Facilities Maintenance Management, LLC. (FMM) seeks motivated Electrical Apprentices to support a commercial construction project in Louisiana. You will assist the lead Electrician with wiring layouts, installations, and testing while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates will be familiar with NEC, able to work with power tools and testing equipment, and willing to learn from experienced electricians on site. This entry role offers growth through training and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations; follow client and company policy.
• Ability to handle multiple projects while upholding FMM values: Quality, Teamwork, Integrity, Safety, Versatility.
• Proficient in using power tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience with high and low voltage systems and reading electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead Electrician with layout and installation of wiring per specs and codes.
• Connect wires to breakers, transformers, and components.
• Test electrical systems and circuits for safety and functionality.
• Use testing devices (ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes) to verify systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings.
• Collaborate with other trades to complete projects on time and within budget.
