Job summary

Air Comfort Solutions in the Oklahoma City area is hiring an Electrician Apprentice to perform residential maintenance and service. You’ll work independently and with a team, and you’ll communicate with customers even when they’re stressed, helping show them they are in good hands and you’re here to help save the day.

You’ll work on service, reconnecting and upgrading electrical systems, along with heating and air conditioning equipment and water heaters, while following codes and maintaining

Qualifications

• 1+ years of residential electrical work experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to discuss repair versus replacement options with customers.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to use an iPad to document work.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Service, reconnect, and upgrade electrical systems and HVAC equipment.
• Analyze work orders, follow a daily travel schedule, listen to customer concerns, perform designated work, and proactively solve problems.
• Maintain your truck inventory.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose residential electrical issues.
• Provide the best customer service possible to customers.
• Adhere to local and state codes.
• Maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Identify, repair, or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using testing devices and various tools.

Required Qualifications

• Service Titan experience
• Sales experience

Compensation & Hours

• Pay: $18.00 - $24.00/hr + commission
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
• Days: Monday - Friday, on call rotation
