Job summary

Air Comfort Solutions OKC is hiring an Electrician Apprentice to perform residential maintenance and service work. You’ll work independently yet thrive in a team, communicating clearly with customers to keep them informed and at ease.

Your duties include servicing electrical systems, HVAC components, and water heaters, while upholding safety and local codes. We offer a competitive wage of $18.00–$24.00 per hour plus commission, with hours 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience of residential electrical work.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills, ability to use an iPad to document work.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Service, reconnect, and upgrade electrical systems as well as heating and air conditioning equipment, and water heaters.
• Serve customers by analyzing work orders, following a daily travel schedule, listening to customer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems.
• Maintain your truck inventory.
• Troubleshoot & diagnose residential electrical issues.
• Provide the best customer service possible to our customers.
• Adhere to local and state codes.
• Maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Identify, repair, or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using testing devices, and various tools.
