Job summary

Clevanoo LLC in Wisconsin is seeking an Electrical Application Engineer to support the Applications Engineering team during bid processes. You will develop single-line diagrams, prepare variance logs, and manage technical reviews for MV/LV switchgear, control houses, and PDCs.

The role includes mentoring and development opportunities to advance toward an Application Engineer position, with cross-functional collaboration across project managers, sourcing, and production engineers to ensure design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years using CAD software (SolidWorks Electrical preferred).
• 1–3 years electro-mechanical engineering in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Equivalent work experience of at least 3 years may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary one-lines, three-lines, and control schematics in CAD software.
• Review power and control systems specifications for MV/LV switchgear, metal-clad and metal-enclosed gear, control houses and PDC.
• Perform AC/DC load calculations for CPTs and battery backup systems.
• Perform HVAC sizing calculations using provided tools.
• Ensure designs meet applicable standards (UL, IEEE, NEC) and company specifications.
• Analyze customer specifications against the quote/BOM to identify gaps or issues.
