Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an electrical/digital design engineer to develop medium voltage switchgear, create and approve drawings with EPLAN/AutoCAD, and ensure production release aligned with standards. You will review proposals, configure primary circuits, and design secondary controls while driving standardization of design schemes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automation, computer science, software engineering or related disciplines.
• Solid foundation with knowledge of circuit theory, power system analysis, high-voltage technology and relay protection.
• Familiar with power communication protocols including Modbus, IEC61850 and IEC103.
• Fluent in English and able to work on international/overseas projects.
• Proficient in office software with programming skills to support electrical design and execution.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical and digital design of medium voltage switchgear; complete drawing creation, approval and production release with EPLAN / AutoCAD.
• Take part in technical review of project proposals, including primary circuit configuration and secondary control design.
• Engage in the design of digital solutions and promote standardization of design schemes.
• Cooperate with PM, production, quality and service teams to resolve electrical issues and guarantee on-time project delivery.
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration for overseas projects to drive project implementation
