Job summary

ILink Resources, Inc. is seeking an hands-on Electrical and Controls Technician on 2nd shift (M-F 3:00PM-11:30PM) to install, maintain, program, and troubleshoot electrical controls and automation systems on the production floor.

You will work with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, motors, servos, robotics, and related technologies alongside engineering, maintenance, and production teams. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, document changes, and train operators on control-system

Qualifications

• An associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field.
• Experience as a controls technician or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Hands-on PLC programming experience, particularly with Allen-Bradley or Siemens platforms.
• Experience with robotics, automation, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Working knowledge of industrial network protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus, and EtherCAT.
• Knowledge of motor-control drives and motion systems, including PowerFlex, Kinetix, or Indramat.
• Understanding of electrical safety devices, redundant wiring, test pulses, and lockable switches.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software tools.
