Job summary

Orbital is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in the Electric Utilities sector to join a Pittsburgh, PA project management team. The role supports project management activities across all phases, with emphasis on substation projects in Western Pennsylvania and opportunities for growth to Project Manager as experience increases.

This Exempt position requires residence in the greater Pittsburgh area with on-site or hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3-5 years of project management experience.
• Experience in Commercial/Industrial T&D or similar management preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior PMs to drive project tasks to completion.
• Provide regular updates on tasks and status to management.
• Attend regular project meetings and support site activities.
• Support scheduling, material orders, checklists, and as-builts.
