Job summary

Orbital is seeking an Electrical Construction Coordinator (Substation & Transmission Line) for Western PA and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes safety oversight, pre-construction planning, and coordination to meet schedule and budget goals.

Ideal candidates have related construction experience, knowledge of prints/drawings, and the ability to travel as needed. This on-site or hybrid position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 Years Relevant Construction / Maintenance Experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Similar preferred.
• Experience in Commercial / Industrial T&D or Management preferred.
• May have a background in structural, mechanical, or electrical construction but must be familiar with prints/drawings.
• OSHA 10 hour and MEA specific training is beneficial.
• Must exhibit strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety oversight and report safety incidents.
• Participate in pre-construction planning, reviews, and ensure permits and plans are in place.
• Inspect construction to ensure safety, environmental policy compliance, and conformance to drawings.
• Coordinate material needs, ordering, delivery, and inventory management.
• Prepare Daily Log Reports tracking progress, deficiencies, and safety.
• Maintain redline drawings, weekly safety audits, and scope changes.
• Occasionally climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
