Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking an Electric Technician B to support the electrical maintenance team at our manufacturing facility. The role focuses on sustaining equipment, debugging PLC-based controls, and performing calibration tasks as part of ongoing plant reliability initiatives.

The technician will read schematics, follow engineer directives, and train junior technicians while maintaining strict safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational education in related field desirable.
• Minimum one year of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of PLC and electronic instrument calibration desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics.
• Must maintain consistent attendance and willingness to work non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety, PPE, conduct and attendance rules.
• Identify and correct mechanical problems.
• Maintain good housekeeping (5S).
• Perform tasks without supervision and delegate when needed.
• Train other electrical technicians effectively.
• Complete all paperwork.
• Use AS400 to order parts.
• Follow directions from engineer.
• Be available for overtime, call-ins and rotating shifts.
• Oversee work of B and C electricians.
• Work with other departments to meet plant goals.
• Attend safety and training meetings.
• Willing to learn and upgrade skills.
• Willing to work outside regular schedule as required.
