Job summary

Inteplast-Group is seeking a Mechanical Technician B to support supervision and senior technicians on maintenance tasks. The role requires attention to safety, ability to read schematics, and experience with PLCs and calibration.

The technician will work in a manufacturing environment and may supervise junior staff, while contributing to quality and housekeeping goals. Candidates should have at least 3 years of maintenance experience, high school diploma or GED, and be willing to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical schematics.
• PLC knowledge and electronic instrument calibration desirable.
• Vocational education desirable.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety, PPE, conduct rules.
• Identify and correct mechanical problems.
• Maintain good housekeeping (5S).
• Perform tasks without supervision; delegate when needed.
• Complete all paperwork.
• Use AS400 to order parts.
• Follow directions from Engineer.
• Be available for overtime and rotating shifts.
• Oversee the work of B and C mechanical technicians.
• Train other personnel as needed.
• Attend scheduled safety and training meetings.
• Select tools required for tasks.
• Work with other departments to meet goals.
