Job summary

Portland General Electric in Portland, Oregon seeks an Electric Service Requirements (ESR) Program Manager to plan, lead, and implement projects that support customer-facing service requirements and engineering standards. The role coordinates the lifecycle of ESR guides, work practices, and technical drawings while aligning customer needs with internal design standards.

Responsibilities

• Leads projects of varying size and complexity, including business systems and process improvements, organizational changes, strategy implementation, training initiatives, feasibility studies, and pilot programs.
• Supports major or enterprise-wide projects by collaborating with senior project managers, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams.
• Partners with operations leaders and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and business justification while ensuring strategic alignment, cost effectiveness, and minimal operational or customer service impacts.
• Develops and maintains project planning documents, including project charters, business cases, work breakdown structures, schedules, cost baselines, resource plans, and project milestones.
• Identifies project dependencies, resource requirements, risks, and mitigation strategies; collaborates with Supply Chain, Legal, IT, and other stakeholders on project needs and vendor-related activities.
