Job summary

Portland General Electric seeks an experienced ESR Program Manager to lead projects and process improvements supporting customer-facing electric service requirements and engineering standards.

You will partner with engineering, operations, design, construction, and other stakeholders to align customer needs with internal standards while driving safety, reliability, cost efficiency, and a superior customer experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, psychology, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years of experience in project management or a related field such as project coordination, scheduling, business analysis, or process improvement.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads projects of varying size and complexity, including business systems and process improvements.
• Defines project objectives, scope, deliverables, and business justification with stakeholders.
• Leads project teams, facilitates meetings, and tracks action items to ensure timely delivery.
• Establishes and maintains project controls for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
• Develops and implements communication plans to keep stakeholders informed.
• Conducts process improvement and business analysis to identify opportunities and document requirements.
• Maintains organized project documentation and lessons learned for knowledge sharing.
