Job summary

Foley Power Solutions offers a ThinkBIG Electric Power Generation (EPG) Intern Technician program beginning June 2027. The paid internship blends shop work with ThinkBIG coursework, earning an Associate of Applied Science and more than 2,000 hours of hands-on experience.

The two-year program features a 7–8 week rotation structure between school and Foley locations, with housing arranged near campuses and facilities.

Qualifications

• Dependability: strong attendance and punctuality required.
• Curiosity and learning attitude for technical curriculum.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, assemble, and test generator components.
• Use resistive load bank equipment for testing and repairs.
• Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on power generation assemblies.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs on gensets.
• Attend school and internship rotations, maintain minimum grade requirements, and complete assignments.
• Occasionally travel for training or to assist at other Foley locations.
