Job summary

City of Roseville Electric is hiring an Electric Business Analyst I or II to help track and analyze legislation affecting utility operations. You will develop advocacy positions, draft correspondence, and coordinate partnerships to support regulatory actions.

The role demands translating policy into compliance actions and coordinating with multiple units while leading tours and workshops for advocacy initiatives.

Qualifications

• One year of responsible experience performing duties similar to an Associate Electric Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, CS, economics, mathematics or related field and CA driver’s license.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze state and federal legislation, regulations, and codes affecting utility operations.
• Develop formal advocacy positions and draft written correspondence.
• Build and maintain partnerships with coalition partners and community organizations.
• Provide legislative/regulatory briefings and act as spokesperson to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure enacted laws/regulations are integrated into department operations.
• Collaborate with business units across the utility and organize advocacy trips and workshops.
