Job summary

Ameren Illinois is seeking a Safety Supervisor/Sr. Safety Supervisor to lead safety performance across the organization. You will coach operating teams, interpret safety regulations, and drive injury prevention initiatives in both office and field settings.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field, CSP preferred, and 5+ years of experience; a master's degree may be required for senior levels. Travel and overtime may be needed during outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field required.
• Master's degree in Safety or related field preferred for Sr. Safety Supervisor.
• CSP certification preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership to improve safety performance and drive accountability.
• Assist in planning and evaluating safety meetings and support safety committees.
• Interpret federal and state safety regulations and advise on compliance.
• Conduct field safety observations and communicate findings to workgroups.
• Develop and analyze safety data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate on injury/illness prevention and hazard recognition programs.
