Job summary

Eversource is seeking an experienced manager to lead field activities for a site within a geographic region, delivering safe, reliable and cost-effective electric service. You will oversee overhead and underground teams to install, operate, maintain, restore and construct the transmission and distribution systems.

Responsibilities include staff development, policy implementation, and collaboration with HR and other Electric Operations managers to meet service level commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ten (10) or more years managing or supervising groups engaged in transmission/distribution or related activities.
• Valid Motor Vehicle Operator License is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of field activities for a site within a geographic region to carry out operations, restoration, maintenance and construction of the electric transmission and distribution systems.
• Provide overhead and underground work crews on a 24/7 basis to execute these processes.
• Manage and develop site staff; coach and develop team; collaborate with HR and other Electric Operations managers.
• Assist with preparation for and execution of restoration efforts with other Electric Operations managers.
• Influence district leaders and civic groups to enhance Eversource presence in communities.
