MISO is seeking a Market Evaluation Analyst II to perform analysis and economic studies of wholesale electricity markets, evaluating market outcomes, efficiency, behaviors, and the overall impact on stakeholders.

In this role you will collect and analyze complex datasets, develop metrics and visualizations, automate reporting, and translate insights into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Develop metrics, visualizations, and reports, including automating reporting processes and creating alerts to identify meaningful changes or trends.
• Experience developing metrics, visualizations, and reports using R, EViews, SAS, Python, VBA, Power BI, and Azure.
• 2 years of relevant professional experience in data analysis or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical and economic analyses of market and system operations, market products, and participant behaviors.
• Assess health and performance of markets and report on events requiring further evaluation.
• Translate complex analyses into clear findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
