Job summary

Tri-County Electric Cooperative (TCEC) is seeking a Line Superintendent to lead the Operations team, directing construction, maintenance, and system reliability. You will work with Engineering, System Operations, and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient electric service to members.

This exempt, full‑time role reports to the Director of Operations, requires a strong safety culture, and a track record of managing crews, schedules, and performance metrics to meet utility goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Seven (7) years of electric utility construction and maintenance experience.
• Five (5) years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience.
• Valid Texas Driver's License or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of operations to ensure alignment with goals and system reliability.
• Lead, develop, and hold operations personnel accountable for performance and safety.
• Oversee safe, reliable construction, maintenance, and inspection of the distribution system.
• Coordinate with Engineering and System Operations to execute projects and maintenance activities.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
