Job summary

Entergy Corporation in Texas is seeking a Line Supervisor to supervise, coordinate, and assist in the construction and repair of overhead and underground distribution. The role requires strong leadership and at least 8 years of line experience, plus a Class A CDL and the ability to travel 50–75%.

You will respond to customer issues, mentor crews, enforce safety rules, manage multiple tasks, and support storm restorations while maintaining high quality and reliability of the electric system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of line experience or equivalent.
• Class A Commercial driver's license.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities.

• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to recognize hazards in the workplace and mitigate hazards.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide leadership and training to line and service personnel.
• Champion safe work practices and ensure compliance with Company Safety Rules.
• Work to ensure network goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
• Manage all SO/SR/WR's in DIS/DSS.
• Organize work and manage multiple tasks and inputs simultaneously.
• Collaborate with others and maintain a positive attitude in extreme working conditions.
• Direct construction/repair crews safely and efficiently with attention to safety and accuracy.
• Assist in Network operations, storm restorations, and operation of AM/FM and directing of contract crews.
• Motivate and influence a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce on safety and training issues.
• Assume Line Supervisor's duties temporarily in their absence.
