• Minimum 3+ years of electric distribution design or related utility experience.
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and design/drafting software.
• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering technology, drafting/design, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience accepted.

• Monitors project progress by updating schedules, validating documentation, and preparing standard reports for internal review in line with DOT guidelines.
• Ensures measurements, site conditions, and technical records are complete, precise, and compliant with safety standards.
• Gathers data for territory work, new line extensions, and re-insulation projects with precision and engineering alignment.
• Develops and drafts electric distribution layouts per company standards and specifications, ensuring safety compliance.
• Creates detailed construction packages with drawings, material specs, and documentation for project execution.
• Supports pole replacement designs under senior guidance, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborates with internal teams and field crews to clarify design intent and resolve issues for timely permit submissions.
• Assists senior designers on reconductor and tie-line projects, contributing to documentation and workflow efficiency.
• Demonstrates proficiency in design and drafting software, GIS, and related tools for planning and execution.
• Uses MS Office and Bluebeam for documentation and reporting, following safety and regulatory guidelines.
