Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in daily planning and classroom activities at a Fairlawn, OH Center. You will help supervise the class, assist with meals, safety, and maintaining a clean learning environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, coursework in early childhood education or a CDA, and the ability to meet state licensing standards. 18+ and flexible hours are needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed childcare experience is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA.
• Must meet state/accreditation education/experience requirements.
• Flexibility with hours and schedule.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with daily program planning and implementation.
• Supervise classroom in Lead Teacher's absence.
• Assist with meals, safety, and maintaining a clean, orderly room.
• Attend staff trainings and center programs.
• Support in meal/snack preparation and table manners.
• Perform other duties as requested by Lead Teacher or Center Director.

Job description

The Teacher helps the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the daily program for children, supervises the class when the Lead is out of the room, helps with meals, safety and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly room and Center. May be assisted in the classroom by an Aide/Assistant Teacher.

Job Responsibilities:

• Are caring, compassionate and love what they do!
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
• Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Supervises the classroom, according to the plans of the Lead Teacher when the Lead is out of the room.
• Attends all staff training sessions, meetings and programs sponsored by the Center, as required.
• Helps with meal and snack preparation, feeding children, modeling table manners at family style meals.
• Performs other related duties as requested by a Lead Teacher or Center Director

Job Requirements:

• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility
• A High School diploma or equivalent
• Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation range of $16.22-$16.85 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
