Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the daily program for children. You will supervise the class when the Lead is out, assist with meals, safety, and keep the room clean and orderly. May be assisted by an Aide/Assistant Teacher.

The role emphasizes compassion, licensure compliance, and collaboration with staff. A dedicated schedule and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Coursework or a degree in ECE, child development, or a CDA.

Responsibilities

• Care for children following licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Maintain a fun, interactive, clean and organized classroom.
• Supervise the classroom when the Lead Teacher is out of the room.
• Attend staff trainings, meetings and programs sponsored by the Center.
• Assist with meals and model proper table manners at family-style meals.
• Perform other duties as requested by a Lead Teacher or Center Director.

• Supervises the classroom, according to the plans of the Lead Teacher when the Lead is out of the room.
• Attends all staff training sessions, meetings and programs sponsored by the Center, as required.
• Helps with meal and snack preparation, feeding children, modeling table manners at family style meals.
• Performs other related duties as requested by a Lead Teacher or Center Director

Job Requirements:

• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility
• A High School diploma or equivalent
• Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation range of $12.66-$13.16 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
