Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in planning daily programs for children, supervise the class when the Lead is away, assist with meals and keeping a clean center. • Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA.
• Ability to meet state/accreditation education/experience requirements.
• Flexible hours; must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the daily program for children.
• Supervise the classroom when the Lead Teacher is out of the room.
• Help with meals and supervise mealtime.
• Maintain a clean, orderly classroom and center.
• Attend staff trainings and meetings as required.
• Assist with prep for activities and model appropriate behavior.

The Teacher helps the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the daily program for children, supervises the class when the Lead is out of the room, helps with meals, safety and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly room and Center. May be assisted in the classroom by an Aide/Assistant Teacher.

Job Responsibilities:

• Are caring, compassionate and love what they do!
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
• Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Supervises the classroom, according to the plans of the Lead Teacher when the Lead is out of the room.
• Attends all staff training sessions, meetings and programs sponsored by the Center, as required.
• Helps with meal and snack preparation, feeding children, modeling table manners at family style meals.
• Performs other related duties as requested by a Lead Teacher or Center Director

Job Requirements:

• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation range of $12.66-$13.16 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
• Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers

• Monday-Friday work week
