Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Teacher to support the daily classroom program in a licensed childcare facility. You will assist the Lead Teacher in planning activities, supervise the classroom in their absence and help with meals while ensuring safety and a clean learning environment.

The role requires early childhood coursework or a CDA, a high school diploma, and flexibility in hours. This position offers a Monday-Friday on-site work week with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Coursework or a degree in early childhood education, child development, or a CDA.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation education/experience requirements.
• Flexibility in hours and schedule.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing daily program for children.
• Supervise class in Lead Teacher's absence.
• Help with meals and safety, maintain clean and orderly room.
• Attend staff trainings, meetings and Center programs.
• Assist in meal and snack preparation and family-style meals.
• Perform other duties as requested by Lead Teacher or Center Director.

The Teacher helps the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the daily program for children, supervises the class when the Lead is out of the room, helps with meals, safety and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly room and Center. May be assisted in the classroom by an Aide/Assistant Teacher.

Job Responsibilities:

• Are caring, compassionate and love what they do!
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
• Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Supervises the classroom, according to the plans of the Lead Teacher when the Lead is out of the room.
• Attends all staff training sessions, meetings and programs sponsored by the Center, as required.
• Helps with meal and snack preparation, feeding children, modeling table manners at family style meals.
• Performs other related duties as requested by a Lead Teacher or Center Director

Job Requirements:

• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation range of $16.22-$16.85 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
