Job summary

Clayton County, Georgia is seeking an Absentee Vote Assistant Manager (Seasonal) to supervise polling staff at early/advance voting locations and help ensure accurate voter records and secure ballot handling.

Responsibilities include assisting the poll manager, reconciling machine counts with absentee ballot records, and performing data entry, mail distribution, and customer service tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with voter registration databases and reporting tools.
• Ability to enter and reconcile data accurately for daily participation.
• Experience or exposure to poll procedures and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the poll manager at an Early/Advance polling facility.
• Assist in opening/closing the poll and monitoring staff for procedure compliance.
• Reconcile in-person voters on machines with absentee ballot records.
• Perform data entry, filing, document scanning, and mail distribution.
• Provide in-person and telephone customer service; maintain secure equipment.
