AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an IT Help Desk - Elections Technician for a temporary election cycle assignment in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of IT help desk or desktop support experience and enjoy hands-on work with equipment setup, troubleshooting, data entry, and public sector operations.

Qualifications

Ability to set up, configure, test and maintain IT equipment.
Good understanding of hardware, software and network-connected devices.

Ability to document work clearly and escalate as needed.

Responsibilities

Set up, configure, test, deploy, relocate, and maintain IT equipment.
Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-connected devices.
Document resolutions and escalate issues as necessary.
Assist with data entry, data verification, and routine equipment readiness checks.
Support election operations staff by preparing and positioning technology equipment.
Follow all procedures related to system access, data security, and chain of custody.
