Black Futures Lab is seeking part-time Election Impact Organizers in Valdosta, GA to mobilize Black voters through canvassing, calls, texts, and social media. You will work with the Election Impact Team Leader to reach targets, log responses in MiniVAN, and report daily progress during the late summer to fall campaign window.
The role requires reliable attendance at staging locations and trainings, strong communication, and the ability to navigate routes using maps.
TheBlack to the Future Action Fundis a 501(c)(4) that works to transform Black communities into constituencies that build independent, progressive Black political power in cities and states, enacting policy that improves the lives of Black people so that Black people have what all people deserve — dignity, safety, and power. This is a shared position with its sister organization,Black Futures Lab, a 501(c)(3) that transforms Black communities into constituencies that wield independent political power at the municipal, state, and federal levels.
The problems Black communities facearecomplex, and the solutions require imagination, experimentation, and political power. Together, we combine strategies that help us imagine the alternatives we deserve with the organizing that builds the power to make them real.
Election Impact Organizersare part of a team of social justice advocates who inform and mobilize voters through door-to-door canvassing, phone and text banking, social media, and community events. Our goal is toimpactthe 2026 General Election by engaging Black voters on the issues that matter most to them and energizing them to head to the polls. Election Impact Organizers report directly to the Election Impact Team Leader.
