Job summary

ABB in Mebane, NC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily production and logistics activities on-site. You will guide shift teams, coordinate staffing, and ensure safe, efficient operations, delivering on-time production and accurate materials handling.

You bring 5+ years in manufacturing, knowledge of 5S, PPE, forklift operation, and the ability to work with lifting equipment. This role requires English proficiency, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma, with legal work

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of 5S principles (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain).
• Knowledge and use of necessary PPE.
• Ability to use cranes or other lifting devices as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Basic computer skills to look up parts.
• Ability to maintain hand-eye coordination and use both hands safely.
• Forklift operation required; willingness to complete training on various forklift types.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.

• Supports management in executing staffing adjustments due to vacations, illnesses, equipment outages, or shifting production needs.
• Reinforces team focus on achieving production volume targets, maximizing efficiency, and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Assists management and shift teams with resource allocation, coordination of shift orders, and oversight of work plan execution across production lines.
• Serves as the shift leader, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely resolution of technical, quality, and logistical issues.
