Job summary

A global technology leader is seeking a Warehouse Associate for their Mebane, NC location. This role involves sorting and arranging materials, picking components for dispatch, and performing various warehouse activities while ensuring safety protocols. Candidates should have a high school diploma and ideally 1 year of manufacturing experience. Knowledge of tools such as tape measures and grinders is important. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 40lbs.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines.
• Picking components from stock for dispatch and final packing on pallets.
• Executing routine activities according to established procedures.
• Transporting boxes, and being responsible for various other collection, storage, and warehouse activities.

Qualifications for the role:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge and use of tools—tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.
• Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
