Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Caregiver who reports to the Health & Wellness Director for a non-exempt, hourly position. The role assists residents in daily living per their care plan, including personal care, meals, housekeeping and activities.

The position requires a Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification along with a High School Diploma; elderly care experience is preferred, particularly with dementia. The salary is $23.50 per hour with a flexible schedule and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification plus High School Diploma
• Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experience

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care to residents that include bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in their care plan
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents
• Escort residents to meals and activities
• Ensures all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts
• Document all services provided to your assigned residents during your shift
• Report any change of condition in a resident immediately to your supervisor
