Legal Services of North Florida is seeking a civil practice attorney to lead the Elder Stability Legal Project. This role offers the chance to provide comprehensive civil legal services to older adults, including estate planning, wills and powers of attorney, public benefits, and housing stability.

The attorney will expand access through community education, clinics, and partnerships, while mentoring other staff and shaping a growing elder law program within our nonprofit firm.

Qualifications

• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing.
• Preference for public interest or legal aid experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with civil litigation and administrative law teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Elder Stability Legal Project and oversee its civil legal services.
• Provide legal advice and representation on estate planning, wills and powers of attorney, public benefits, housing stability, and elder law issues.
• Expand access through community education, clinics, and partnerships; mentor other staff to strengthen the elder law program.
