Job summary

Qualifications

• MSW required or equivalent.
• Experience providing individual and group counseling.
• Willingness and ability to travel across New York City via public transportation for home visits.
• Proficiency with web-based case management platforms and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan safety and service needs for seniors experiencing abuse across in-home, office, and community settings.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention using evidence-based modalities.
• Assist clients in navigating benefits programs (Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, cash assistance, home care).
• Coordinate referrals with elder justice legal services and community resources.
• Lead group counseling to reduce isolation and build peer networks.
