Job summary

Baltimore City Public Schools is seeking a paraprofessional to support Multilingual Learners and families across school sites. You will assist teachers, handle interpreting tasks, and help coordinate parent meetings and translations under teacher direction.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, positive relationships with students and families, and collaboration with school staff to engage multilingual families in school activities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• At least 48 college credits or successfulParaPro assessment.
• Bilingual ability including English and another language.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and assist teachers and MLs.
• Support small groups and ELD-related family activities.
• Assist with meetings, workshops, and translations under supervision.
• Maintain confidential handling of family, staff, and student information.
• Travel between school sites as needed.
