Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland is seeking a dedicated ESOL/ELD teacher to plan and deliver instruction to students identified for ELD services. Under the direction of the school principal, you will support Emergent Multilingual Learners.

You will collaborate with administrators, counselors and teachers to tailor instruction, and you will explain the ELD program to families, serving as a resource on culture and language differences.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Holds Maryland teacher certification in ESOL/ELD.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide ESOL/ELD instruction for eligible students.
• Collaborate with administrators, counselors, teachers and staff to support EML students.
• Explain the ELD program to parents and serve as a resource on cultural and linguistic differences.
