Job summary

TMSA Charlotte Secondary - Concord Campus in Concord, North Carolina is seeking an ELA/Math Teacher to join a high-expectation environment. The role reports to the Principal and supports students across 195 instructional days.

The starting salary ranges from $57,500 to $70,000 per year and includes a 401k with company match, medical/dental/vision coverage, paid time off, and seasonal bonuses. A North Carolina teaching license is required or in process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Current North Carolina teaching license or in process
• Prior teaching experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Know and align with NC State Standard Course of Study to develop effective lesson plans.
• Establish a safe, orderly environment and foster positive student culture.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Participate in MTSS processes to provide equitable education.
• Demonstrate leadership through the Leader In Me program schoolwide.
• Collaborate with staff to build a professional learning community.
• Assist in school improvement planning and goal development.
• Open to feedback from lead teachers and administrators.
• Engage with parents to promote positive behavioral support.
