Job summary

Gestalt Community Schools seeks an Instructional Coach to support teachers in implementing standards and college readiness benchmarks. You will lead PLCs, coach teachers through modeling and side-by-side strategies, and align learning plans with school academic goals.

You will analyze classroom practice, provide actionable feedback, and collaborate with principals to drive student achievement. Strong communication and adult-learning expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of teaching experience at Levels 4-5 with demonstrated competency of gap closure.
• Ability to manage several projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience presenting and working with adult teachers.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate teacher’s understanding and implementation of standards and college readiness benchmarks.
• Develop and execute school-wide PLCs and carry out curriculum framework training.
• Create learning plans for teams aligned to academic goals.
• Coach teachers using modeling, co-planning, and side-by-side strategies.
• Analyze teacher practice through classroom observations and data review.
• Provide clear, direct feedback to teachers based on practice and data.
• Collaborate with school principals to set and reach academic goals.
• Co-present during professional development events and conferences.
• Attend regular coaching meetings.
