Job summary

Gestalt Community Schools seeks an Instructional Coach to support teachers through guidance, training, and resources, focusing on data-driven improvement and standards implementation. The role emphasizes one-on-one and small-group coaching to raise practice and student outcomes.

The successful candidate will analyze classroom practice, model effective strategies, and coordinate professional development with school leadership, contributing to ongoing district goals and PLC work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of teaching experience at Levels 4-5 with demonstrated competency in closing gaps.
• Experience presenting and working with adult teachers.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and effective coaching strategies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate teacher understanding and implementation of standards and ACT College Readiness Standards.
• Provide and arrange professional development activities for teachers.
• Offer feedback through classroom observations and data analysis to guide practice.
• Collaborate with principals and deans to set and monitor academic goals.
• Co-present during new teacher seminars and educators conferences.
