Job summary

Green Dot Corporation seeks a Literacy Curriculum Specialist to support teachers implementing the Green Dot ELA and ELD Programs across multiple schools through coaching, professional development and curriculum development. The role emphasizes standards-aligned instruction, collaboration with site leaders, and MTSS planning to raise literacy outcomes.

The position requires travel between the Central Office and school sites in the greater Los Angeles area, with a salary range of $82,000–$92,000

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of successful English teaching at the secondary level.
• Valid secondary English credential.
• Master’s degree in education or related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel between Central Office and school sites.
• Knowledge of CC ELA Standards and CA ELD Standards.
• Strong communication and ability to deliver differentiated staff development.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional coaching to implement grade-level ELA/ELD instruction.
• Co-plan, analyze student work and data, and lead demo lessons and observations.
• Collaborate with administrators and department leaders on ELA goals.
• Create supporting resources ( pacing guides, assessment design ).
• Coach teachers on ELA assessments and adjust instruction based on data.
• Plan and facilitate ELA professional development.
• Support district and school literacy strategies and MTSS.
