Job summary

Cardinal Health in El Paso, TX seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor to develop and implement EHS solutions across assets in the El Paso area. The role aims to mitigate risks to employees, facilities, products, and surrounding communities.

You will partner with operations to implement EHS plans, provide technical guidance, and support regulatory inquiries and audits. Strong regulatory knowledge and bilingual communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; 4+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EHS management systems and regulatory guidance (OSHA, EPA).
• Spanish/English bilingual with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to support sites and audits.

Responsibilities

• Support global EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people, property, and communities.
• Develop site-specific annual EHS plans and standardize programs across sites.
• Provide guidance for regulatory inquiries, incidents, and business continuity events.
• Lead site hazard assessments and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with Company and regulatory requirements; analyze EHS metrics.
• Assist with budget needs for risk reduction and compliance initiatives.
