Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an El Paso EHS Advisor to develop and implement EHS solutions supporting assets in the El Paso area. The role focuses on managing, mitigating, and eliminating EHS risks to employees, facilities, products, and surrounding communities.

The position reports to the El Paso Area EHS Manager and emphasizes building compliant, resilient operations with strong cross-functional collaboration and regulatory engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of experience in related field
• Experience with EHS Management Systems and their implementation
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and workers' compensation requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Spanish/English bilingual
• Ability to travel up to 20% as needed

Responsibilities

• Supports implementation of the global EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people, property, community, information and brand.
• Develops site-specific annual EHS plans with operation leaders and standardizes programs.
• Provides support for events and regulatory inquiries and develops risk mitigation plans.
• Leads management of EHS hazard assessments and risk mitigation.
• Ensures compliance with Company and regulatory requirements and analyzes EHS metrics.
• Assists in investigations, audits, and business resiliency planning.
• Educates management on EHS roles and fosters a diverse workforce.
