Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an El Paso EHS Advisor to develop and implement EHS solutions that protect employees, facilities, products, and the surrounding community. The role reports to the El Paso Area EHS Manager and aims to mitigate risks and support business resilience.

You will partner with operations, lead hazard assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance in the El Paso area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in EHS or related area preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and guidance.
• Experience with EHS management systems and program implementation.
• Spanish/English bilingual; must be able to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Support the global EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people, property, and community.
• Partner with operations to develop site-specific annual EHS plans and standardize programs.
• Provide expert support for regulatory inquiries, incidents, and continuity planning.
• Lead site-specific hazard assessments and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with Company and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze EHS metrics to drive continual improvement in operations.
• Identify budget needs to address risk reduction and compliance efforts.
• Report key performance indicators related to injuries and environment.
• Provide guidance on ergonomics, industrial hygiene, safety and environmental processes.
