Job summary

Elevation Church in Matthews, NC seeks an experienced eKidz Ministry leader to shape Sunday-Thursday experiences, oversee children’s worship and programs, and cast vision for safe, engaging environments across campuses. You will partner with volunteers to deliver gospel-centered ministry to kids and families.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the overall leadership of the campus, ensuring all eKidz worship experiences are executed with excellence.
• Be a visible leader on the campus, executing the vision of the church and eKidz ministry.
• Care for, develop, and oversee all eKidz volunteer teams and functions, including Host Services, Safari, Quest, Motion, child baptisms, and dedications.
• Identify opportunities to regularly integrate eKidz into every aspect of the church.
• Implement the infrastructure of all standard operating systems, cultural expectations, volunteer leadership, and financial viability for the areas you oversee.

• Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)

DAY-TO-DAY

• We’re a Sunday-Thursday work environment. Monday-Thursday, we’re in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we’re supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.
• There’s a lot to accomplish each week, so we’re pretty fast-paced. We’re also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.
• Yes, we work hard. But we’re good at playing hard, too. We’re a creative staff, so there’s no shortage of activities around our offices to have some fun!
