Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking a PRN EKG technician who collaborates with the team to ensure smooth operations and patient care. The role involves verifying orders, providing excellent service, and performing EKGs with precision while maintaining equipment and documentation.

Training and continuous improvement are encouraged. Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent and an associate degree preferred; BLS/CPR certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

PRN: $18.45/HR + SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS

Collaborates with team members to ensure smooth operations. Checks practitioner orders for accuracy and clarifies with offices, floors, or physicians as needed. Provides excellent customer service and ensures effective communication among all caregivers. Performs EKGs accurately and efficiently. Maintains all equipment in proper working order. Completes delegated daily, weekly, and monthly tasks promptly. Interacts with patients and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all tasks and procedures. Assists with patient care activities as needed. Participates in ongoing training and development to maintain skills and knowledge. Supports quality improvement initiatives within the department. Other duties as assigned.
